Text description provided by architects. The new social and cultural center was created on the site of the old Sokol building in the historic center of the village. This village does not have the classic public square, instead it has been replaced by the Sokić area here, an eternally indispensable phenomenon.
Despite the reconstruction of the area, it has been possible to preserve the original genius site and provide citizens with the necessary facilities for social, cultural and sporting events of all kinds. The newly designated forecourt on Masarykova Street became part of the entire district.
The space inside the building is free, as three main spaces are installed on top of each other: a multi-purpose hall, a restaurant, and a garden with an attached sports area. These spaces can easily be linked into one stunning unit to organize essential municipal events. The building also includes two smaller halls on the first floor with a view of the garden and used for regular activities of all associations, athletes and citizens.
All operations and service facilities are located in the two-storey wings adjacent to the adjacent townhouse buildings. The model is unambiguous, simple and dignified and refers ideologically and typologically to the quality of Sokol buildings of the First Republic.
The part of the park opposite the club is intended for young people. The club's basement is used as an acoustically and visually isolated music rehearsal room. The upper deck serves as a concert stage or projection screen.
Along the park is the warehouse, which was created by rebuilding the existing courtyard building. Garden equipment is stored in the warehouse and also provides space for a senior citizens' club. The park is dominated by a hundred-year-old linden tree. The central area of the complex with a multi-purpose sports surface is surrounded by a green slope with various play elements.
